Role Overview

Our Heart of House Team Members are responsible for setting the pace for a great shift, every shift. They provide dependable, fast service that is absolutely Chili's. If you take pride in great team work, then we want to hear from you!

  • Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment

    I love not having to interact with guests as much as hosting.

    It can be stressful at times, especially when you are by yourself in that department. The kitchen staff can also be very sassy. They often don’t give you what you ask for/what is ordered.

    I think the best thing about my job is the environment. A lot of the people I work with are chill and very understanding people. Communication is pretty good if you seek it out.

    Sometimes though, Communication has to be initiated if you are to receive information. I have had issues before with my managers not properly communicating with each other and it has gotten me in trouble before. I also have never received any paid sick days, or even know the policy on sick days.
