What Taco Bell employees say about their job

  • Best thing

I don't know honestly. I have good days and bad days but it just depends on what kind of "mood" I am in.

    Worst thing

Honestly the managers. (Higher ups). Have the time it doesn't feel like they know what they are doing, they just go with the flow and sometimes that doesn't work, and it gets frustrating for us employees.

    3.9

Food champion at Taco Bell, April 2025

  • Best thing

That i have one I guess.
I do get free food that helps alot with my food bill.

    Worst thing

People don't listen when i tell them to do something. I'm not always considered on my shift over calls made. There are double standards for people. high standards for uniform presentation. I have to stay late sometimes because the schedule didn't have enough people. I'm told to tough it up instead of getting help finding a solution to my problems. Running a shift is hard and anything g that happens is on me

  • Best thing

I get to meet new and cool people. And learn in a variety of ways

    Worst thing

The stress can be overwhelming and undertraining and understaffing can be an issue

    5.5

Crew member at Taco Bell, March 2025

  • Best thing

There’s some interesting people that come and go and stories to tell form these people and experiences. I’m sure every manager has different ways of doing things that can affect how you are treated at work. The core values of Taco Bell as a whole I would say are pretty basic and understandable. It’s not too difficult to learn.

    Worst thing

Short staffing, stress, rude customers, corporate not understanding the stress they create for workers on the floor.

    3.9

Shift manager at Taco Bell, February 2025

  • Best thing

It's simple: tacos and burritos. Not hard once you get the gist of it.

    Worst thing

Gets stressful fast. Moving up to management can take forever depending on the store.

    4.6

Trainer at Taco Bell, January 2025

  • Best thing

You get 30 minute breaks, free food and discounts

    Worst thing

Stress from customers, we are typically understaffed, it's hard to get raises and a rude and disrespectful GM

    4.1

Crew member at Taco Bell, December 2024

  • Best thing

the team, the nice customers and the free drinks

    Worst thing

The management, the pay just for us to be doing everything including things we didn’t apply to be.

    4.6

Customer service at Taco Bell, December 2024

  • Best thing

Getting to help the customers and make food(still learning)
And I mostly enjoy the people I mainly work with.

    Worst thing

Current status of the pick up from night shift and still do what we need to get done in the morning.

    6.2

Fast food worker at Taco Bell, December 2024

  • Best thing

being able to learn new things on the job and learning how to move quick

    Worst thing

feeling stressed about having to serve a lot of people and dealing with rude customers

    6.1

Shift manager at Taco Bell, December 2024

  • Best thing

We work with a tight knit team. Most of us like eachother. Our store manager is very involved.

    Worst thing

Customers suck everywhere you go. I think the highlight bad thing about Taco Bell is that you're not guaranteed 40 hour weeks and sometimes the scedule can be a little wack.
