As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will engage with shoppers, tenants, and staff through clear communication and customer service, report concerns, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and/or visitors by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disputes and requesting law enforcement and/or medical assistance when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of mall common areas, corridors, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or hazard concerns.
• Monitor entrances, service corridors, and delivery areas, verifying access as directed and observing for prohibited activity, theft-related behavior, and/or property damage.
• Document patrols, incidents, and guest interactions in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate observations to site management per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
