Are you ready to spend your days working outdoors, staying active, and helping bring beautiful plants and flowers to life in major garden centers? Join the Bell Nursery team this garden season (typically February through October) — a physically engaging role that’s ideal for people who enjoy hard work, fresh air, and making spaces look great.

- Work outdoors and stay active caring for plants, flowers, and landscaping goods
- Use creativity and hands-on effort to set up attractive plant displays and merchandise layouts

What you’ll do (Merchandiser responsibilities)
- Unload, move, and stock live-goods shipments — manually or with help — including lifting and carrying up to 50 lb, and pushing/pulling carts up to ~100 lb
- Execute merchandising and display plans (plan-o-grams), including setting promotional ads
- Maintain accurate inventory, monitor watering/sustainability standards, and ensure live goods are well cared for
- Communicate daily with store and Bell Nursery leadership on execution and store status
- Provide basic customer service when needed
What we’re looking for (Candidate attributes)
- Enjoy working outdoors, being active, and doing physical work
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced, sometimes variable environment
- Reliable, alert, safety-conscious, with good problem-solving skills
- Able to work weekends (strongly preferred), and access to dependable transportation (private or public)
- Comfortable using a smartphone to manage payroll/inventory apps, and communicating via text, email, or phone
