The pay but if you're out of La Mirda California and new there's no hours for new guys you'll average 30 to 45 hours and you're on call until you get a route

Everything, hard work, bad equipment and poor communication which makes it hard cause you then have to work harder cause the chain of commands that came down were not clear

It’s a union job with a lot of hours and it keeps me physically active and in decent shape.
Worst thing
Sometimes you don’t feel up for all the overtime but it’s mandatory for all employees up to 12 hours.

There are many individuals on the work floor that will seek people who are truly trying to succeed and they will help them. The US Food workfloor family is kind and supportive all the while being competitive, fun, and a little brash.
Worst thing
Management is very dismissive, neglectful, jealous, and slow. Floor managers are often unaware of safety hazards happening in their respected departments because they refuse to do routine walk arounds. When aware it will take hours for them to even notify specialized workers such as sanitation or maintenance technicians. On top of that many managers will talk down to you and even smirk when you come to them with problems. Personally I think this issue stems from them getting paid less than the team they look after because they will frequently use the excuse "you get paid plenty enough to do xyz" when they task you with their own responsibilities.
