Managers do not treat you with respect, and they will fire you if you do astounding jobs. They will over work you, and put you down for not doing enough, but also not help you when you need help.

The hours are a challenge- in order to overlap with all shifts as a manager, I close two days and week, mid once, and open twice. Its also very physically demanding.

The bullying, sexual harassment, total lack of communication from leadership, retaliation if you have disciplinary action, no development, total lack of empathy, unsafe work practices, they pay out hush money to prevent class action lawsuits, play favoritism.

Without a doubt the people I work with including managers. Everyone gets a long and there's just such a great positive atmosphere. We get treated with respect and are cared for and get treated like they actually know what we're going through.

The benefits are great (though from what I understand they have been reduced throughout the years) and the people you work with are almost always fantastic. The schedule is typically quite flexible and they are empathetic when you need to make changes. Also on Sundays we are paid more because it's an insanely exhausting day no matter the shift.

It is incredibly unsafe. Our store orders more than it can safely store and this leads to crew members dropping boxes on their heads or having to lift things from unsafe angles and also no way to move through the backroom without doing an obstacle course that OSHA would HATE. Also the corporate culture has started to suck all of the personality from our stores on a Crew level. The store practices & policies, dress codes, and communication about individual crew member issues has been abysmal for the past 2 years.
