The coroner’s are most of the time super chill people and really cool to hangout and just talk with, sometimes you get the occasional customer that is super chill and friendly.

Managers disappear to who knows where and avoiding helping us out during rushes most of the time, unnecessary stress, customers are most of the time rude because you tell them you are out of a certain ingredient like mustard or a veggie and they expect you to make some pop out of thin air for them, customers don’t like that cheese isn’t included in the basic $4.99 sandwiches and have attitudes over it as if the deli clerks are the ones that make the prices.

Caring too much about the store, our customers and the quality we give. Employees today are only there to get a paycheck not to actually work in take pride in what they’re doing. They wanna work less and get paid more and it seems to be the new norm while go-getters and overachievers bust their butt for a little gratification.

In my position, the ability to obtain health insurance is invaluable. I’ve made wonderful connections with some wonderful people, and I have been able to learn a lot about retail management and discipline.

An extremely toxic and disrespectful work environment. I’m constantly asked to go off task to help with someone else’s department, and am frequently unable to complete my home department’s work for the day. I’m overworked and under appreciated. My manager goes home three hours into every shift and leaves all work on me. Wages are terrible for the work I provide for the company.
