Best thing
The best thing about the job is how fun it is. I get to drive a forklift around a massive warehouse, moving freight. It's like racing go-carts around.
The pay if great with frequent raises. I am treated with respect for the most part, and my opinion seems to actually matter.
Worst thing
The worst things have to do with the other employees and lack of tools.
Some of the people they hire for the job are not qualified in the slightest. They are lazy and make the job much harder because I have to clean up after them. They do not discipline as much as they should.
Also the lack of tools I need is infuriating. It will take me 10-15 minutes to find a thermal blanket or other tool I need for a task. They claim they are readily available, but that is false. They also do not give us enough straps to secure the freight with.
