  The worst part is your job being on the line, never given opportunities to advance unless you suck up to managers or sleep with them, and managers can lie and take your job from you. Customer is always right so if they cuss you out you are in the wrong if you challenge back because you wanna be treated like a human at work.

  Entitled coworkers who don't think they have to work while at work. Management who pigeonholes me into a role with "the only shifts available" while giving literally anyone else whatever they want. I get left with little to no help most of the time. I'm almost forced to take all my allowed breaks less than two hours into an 8 hr shift. I could go on and on.

  The managers have favorites if you are not a favorite to them they will make it known. They don't always give you an option on if u need to stay and work extra hours and I struggle to get any hours at all cause labor is cut down a lot. I want at least 30 or 35 hours a week sometimes I have 18 and sometimes I have 24.

  I work in the Meat Department. I love grilling, smoking, cooking meat in general. I enjoy chatting with customers about methods and recipes. Brings me some happiness to provide a stranger with a new recipe that they continue to enjoy.

  Lack of support from corporate, lack of applications to work in my dept. loving the 10+ hours of overtime I’m getting as a result, though!
