What are production supervisors saying about pay at General Motors?

  • Best thing

The people, learning environment, outside activities, and the pay.

    Worst thing

It is sometimes very boring and you end up having to invent problems to solve rather than have a set assignment or schedule. Also HR, I.T. and upper level management all are very inefficient at how they go about solving issues that require detailed explanation or when remediation concerns arise.

  • Best thing

The best thing is the pay it union so management can't berk you around. Free benifits. And good coverage. Pluse I work no more that 4 days a week cuz it's 12s. And I get every other weekend off.

    Worst thing

Sometimes there's just stupid stuff from management and can be overwhelming at first. Also some coworkers don't do there jobs so that annoying.
