What employees are saying about FedEx
-
Best thing
Consistent schedule, plenty of hours if you want it.
Worst thing
It's monotonous and the pay is a paltry compared to other companies like UPS. The corporate bozos actively try to union bust and have been for decades. Some years you do not get a raise all bc the corporate bozos place the shareholders before their employees.

Best thing
Benefits, less hours, no customers
Worst thing
Physical labour can be straining or annoying at least, and anyone who is in a leadership role can understand how frustrating some people can be in different ways

Best thing
High hours available, paid reasonably. Full benefits including 401k match. Laid back management
Worst thing
Laid back management, extremely high stress environment due to deadlines. Extremely high stress situations now and again stepping from customer service related issues. Systematic incompetence.

Best thing
The freedom and my fellow coworkers who can be very helpful.
Worst thing
The upper management who don’t know how about job is and tries to implement new rules, and coworkers who make it so we have to stay longer to clean up their mess.
