Best thing
I love working with clients and actually making them feel more confident in their appearance and makeup skills.
Worst thing
There are always metrics and sales goals that I have to hit, and these goals are always incredibly unrealistic. I will have to promote sales, pre-sales, online shopping, our app, our credit card program, our communication app, and our new products at the same time. It is exhausting, to say the least. I am also expected to help out other parts of the store while still making all of my goals. Additionally, it is abundantly clear that no one in upper management has any idea how things actually work in the store.
