  • Best thing

the patients helping and taking care of the patients

    Worst thing

short staff, no understanding treat phlebotomist like a micro object we dont mean anything to the staff at these hospitals.. we are under paid and overwork the turn over rate is uncontrollable this is all over the world working as a phleb. in a hospital was the worse mistake i ever made. A post secondary education needed to become a phlebotomist and they treat us as if we are nothing but no one can do our jobs not even a nurse or a Doctor. all over the world I see comments like this and somebody need to lobby at the hite house for phlebotmoist. It takr a special set of skills to do this job accurately to be ablt to stick a person and not hurt them your technique and how you comfort the patient while attempting to collect the sample is sooooooo important for you and your patient.
