What people are saying about pay at Apple

Best thing
The best parts of Apple other than pay and benefits (which is good for retail, bad for tech) are when you actually have time to connect with and help a customer in a way that doesn’t feel transactional. I’ve had some truly transcendental experiences with customers that I cherish. Especially when I’m able to unlock something that helps them live their life. Our accessibility features especially can be game changing and really amazing.
Worst thing
Being forced to push products and services that I’m believing in less and less. Also in the past I was told what they needed from me and I was able to self-lead and decide how best to accomplish those goals. Now they micro-manage every detail, almost down to the word. Management has absolutely no idea what they’re doing, and they’re discouraged from showing empathy. This has been a huge change in the last 5 years or so.
