Best thing
You are your own boss in a way just with a couple of rules and it feels like a job like uber or amazon flex but you get paid per hour. You have the option to move to a different location.
Worst thing
The facts that you can’t get straight 40 hours work week or just set days and you have to work weekends at least one day. No real benefits and no sick days set and no paid vacation. No way to move up the ladder or make any overtime pay or even ask for a rise.
Amazon Driver, February 2025

Best thing
The best thing is getting to connect with people.. Learning a lot about other people and learning how to be patient and communicate with all types of people on almost every level..
Worst thing
The drama.. A lot of business that isn’t yours that somehow becomes yours..

Best thing
Teammates I work with everyday keep me going and make the job somewhat fun. If I had bad teammates this would be the opposite.
Worst thing
The favoritism, higher ups not fully understanding what we do and changing things that make our job more difficult.
Amazon Warehouse Worker, January 2025
-
Best thing
Benefits, pay, simplicity of asking for time off or using time off for vacation, sick, personal. As long as you have enough time to cover you can come in late or leave early. As well as the amount of time we are able to accumulate such as up to 180 hours vacation, 48 Personal a year and 2 hours per every 40 worked for unpaid time off
Worst thing
The management how they run the business and how they treat the staff at times
Amazon Parcel Sorters, January 2025
-
Best thing
Control our pto
Worst thing
They change policies without notifying associates until we get a write up for it, they say we get 15 mnute breaks but we actually don’t, we get a write up for taking longer than 15 minutes on a restroom break even though there’s 400 people in the building and very limited bathrooms

Best thing
Easy work, after 90 days your offered school, training,
Worst thing
Class level worker, part time flex 19. Higher class to for opportunities. Peoples opinions are unnecessary. Discipline not enforced.

Best thing
good benefits and easy to move up. Management is very hit or miss, and the success you find has to be 100% sought out and fought for, but can be managed with the right connections and work ethic.
Worst thing
The work itself is incredibly unengaging and it wears on your body very heavily. By the end of the week, your feet and legs can be so worn out from the week that it can make you not want to go back
Amazon FC Associate, January 2025
-
Best thing
Don’t have to interact with customers especially as a introvert person
Worst thing
Needing to hit exact rate of 30 even tho your rate can lower from break taking a bathroom break or even have to call audit or problem solve

Best thing
Holiday pay is generous, you can use time off whenever you need or want to, as long as you have enough time off accrued, various benefits.
Worst thing
Managers don't respect, and often talk down to employees, HR is too often unhelpful, people get hurt a lot, overtime is enforced during the holidays, people put in 40 hours a week, but still can't afford basic necessities, because rent and grocery prices are not very well offset by our wages.
Amazon Warehouse Associate, January 2025

Best thing
Relative pay and benefits in America. Scheduling can be flexible if you jump through enough hoops or aren't targeted for needing thr flexibility
Worst thing
Targeting and union busting. Productivity based employment. Almost no training for anything. Raises stop altogether after 36 months

Best thing
My team and my manager
Worst thing
The turnover rate of our managers. We keep repeating the same "new" way of doing things, and it never works. They do not take any thoughts on how to better the operation. When you bring up a legit concern, you get a cookie cutter answer. They say family matters and our safety matters but it doesn't feel like it.

Best thing
The money is good for the actual work, it’s not crazy hard work.
Worst thing
Can be stressful if you let yourself care too much about times and trying to clear everything, if you take your time and realize it’s going to get done eventually by the end of your shift then it gets easier and you’ll get help if you fall behind.
Amazon Warehouse Worker, December 2024

Best thing
The pto/upt/vacation time
Worst thing
The demand to meet quotas and the micro managing of time on task and how long it takes you to walk to bathroom and use it and walk back. Some have to walk 5 mins to get to a bathroom depending on their location in the building.

Best thing
The pay is really good, I can change positions if I want, the consistency is really nice, I know I can move up if I want, time off is really easy to request, I can almost always get overtime if I want it, I get paid weekly, they sell food on site in case I forget to bring a lunch, and they will pay for college if I want to advance my education. Plus, they have a health center on site to address any soreness or injuries that happen on the job, and everyone is highly encouraged to utilize that service whenever they need.
Worst thing
The long hours can be a little exhausting, and new employees may have a hard time adjusting to walking long distances and being on their feet for so long every day.
Amazon Warehouse Associate, December 2024
