What you do in this job will vary depending on what sort of location you work in.

Some common things cleaners do include:

• Dusting, wiping down and disinfecting surfaces
• Mopping, hoovering and shampooing floors

• Following safety instructions for chemical cleaners
• Following health and safety procedures

You may have to work early mornings, late nights, on weekends or bank holidays.
