Baristas have the job of making and serving coffee and hot drinks to customers.

This type of job might include:

• Taking orders and payments from customers
• Preparing coffee, tea, hot chocolate and specialist cold drinks
• Grinding coffee beans
• Using coffee machines
• Heating up hot food
• Serving sandwiches, cakes and sweet treats
• Cleaning tables
• Keeping work stations and equipment clean
• Maintaining hygiene and health and safety standards

You might have to work early mornings, on the weekend and bank holidays.

This is an entry level job, but some companies might ask for previous catering experience.
