Bank cashier pay in Bradford September 2023

Bank cashiers have the job of helping customers with financial transactions.

They can work in bank branches.

• Helping customers
• Processing financial transactions (e.g. withdrawing money, printing account statements)
• Cashing cheques
• Setting up credit or debit card accounts
• Helping customers use self service machines
• Handling money

This job can be done sitting down. However, during quiet periods you may be asked to do other tasks.

You may have to work on weekends and bank holidays.

This is an entry level job.

• Some GCSEs, a Level 1 or 2 certificate, or an apprenticeship
• Pass background checks
• The right to work in the UK

You may be asked to do some tests to test your maths abilities.
