<p><strong>Project Engineer (Rail Civils Works)</strong><br /><strong>Hamilton, Scotland with Travel as required</strong><br /><strong>Fixed Term Contract - 12 Months</strong><br /><strong>Competitive Salary &amp; Car Allowance</strong></p><p><strong>About the role:</strong><br />Here at Babcock International, we&#39;re looking to recruit a Project Engineer on a twelve month fixed term contract. Your responsibility is to ensure physical implementation of Rail Civils projects aligned to Track Renewals and Signalling &amp;Telecommunications works are to correct technical standards.</p><p>You will work as an integral part of the project team to ensure the safe, successful and technically compliant delivery of the portfolio of allocated contracts, management of site teams, subcontractors and preparation of work packages.</p><p><strong>What do I need to do the role?</strong><br />You must hold minimum HNC / HND qualification in Civil Engineering, and hold a PTS.</p><p>You will have also have proven previous experience in a similar Site / Project Management role managing Civils works including but not limited to, earthworks, R/C works, drainage, ideally within the Rail industry.</p><p><strong>What else do I need to know?</strong><br />The role is based out of Hamilton, however you will be required to travel to sites across Scotland and England depending on project location. This may also involve staying overnight on occasions and also to work weekends to support site works during track possessions.</p><p>We are happy to talk about flexible working.
