Creative Support is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Support Worker to join our passionate staff team at our bespoke supported living service in Salford, Greater Manchester. At this complex needs service we provide quality care and support to residents with a range of support needs including learning disabilities and other needs. You will be providing excellent positive behaviour support to individuals with a range of complex care needs whilst showing consistent unconditional positive regard to all residents.
You will be also supporting these individuals to enjoy every day to its fullest and gain confidence and independence whilst living in their own homes. No two days will be the same at this service as we support our service users to gain new skills, follow their passions and engage in a wide range of activities within their homes and out in the community.
Your role may include:
Providing excellent respectful personal care, administering medication, lone working, hoisting and lifting,
Encouraging individuals to access the local and wider community and engage in a range of exciting social activities,
Developing warm and meaningful relationships with residents, their family and friends,
Supporting individuals to learn new skills and help with domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning and shopping,
Full or part time hours, to be worked flexibly according to the needs of the service.
Up to one year’s experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities is essential for this role, as is a full UK driving license. Full, bespoke training will be given to successful candidates in order to provide the highest quality tailored support to our residents. This service in Salford, Greater Manchester has great public transport links and is close to Albert Park.
