What Everyman Cinema employees say about their job
-
Best thing
Free cinema tickets and staff
Worst thing
Management are always undertrained. Do not know the basics of the job however they always seem to be hired in higher positions
Employee at Everyman Cinema, September 2025
-
Best thing
The free tickets and staff meals
Worst thing
It’s unsafe and treated poorly by mangers. For example walking into dark cinemas with hot drinks and glass without a touch, being encouraged to run with food as to get food in on time, no break at all on a six hour shift and without even 5 minutes to sit down, managers constantly stressed and will tell you off for even taking a 2 minute break yet they themselves barely do anything. Overall they went you to provide a 5 star experience but will pay you less then most fast food restaurants. Really the main issue is how unsafe it is trying to deliver hot food and drink whilst not being able to see , really would not recommend.
