As part of our market-leading Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) team, you’ll carry out high-quality servicing, diagnostics, and repairs at customers’ homes or workplaces. It’s hands-on, varied work where no two days are the same – and you’ll be the hero who keeps our customers moving.

What We’re Looking For

 Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent)

At least 3 years fully qualified, hands-on experience as a vehicle technician on light vehicles

A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Flexibility to work at relatively short notice and open to travel with overnight stays, if necessary

    Mobile working. Meeting lots of people and helping them in their time of need. Good overtime rates and incentives. Great for developing your diagnostic experience as you are attending lots of varied faults.

    Worst thing

    Working roadside can be dangerous. Lots of different memberships mean you have to take different approach on each breakdown which can be confusing and frustrating. Office staff (dispatch and call centre) seem to have a high turnover so hard to build rapport and have to deal with their mistakes. Some customers have attitude with you because of wait times and not understanding their entitlements.
