A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Warehouse & Distribution Security Officer who will work at our client's premises at the Howden Site East Yorkshire.
We are looking for a competent Security Officer to undertake the surveillance of our premises' and protection of our staff and visitors. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behaviour and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behaviour.
Responsibilities of a Security Officer at the site
- To participate in other duties commensurate to the role
- Conduct welfare visits to local client satellite sites (vehicle provided)
- Conduct foot patrol on base site
- Responsibilities
- Patrol premises regularly to establish presence and ensure site meets all the Security and H+S requirements
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
- Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
- Check CCTV cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
- Provide assistance to visitors and Contractors entering site
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
Requirements Security Officer
- SIA Licence - Security Guarding/Door Supervision
- Previous experience in the security industry is an advantage
- Be physically fit and patrol effectively by foot
- Deliver excellent customer service
- High standards of both punctuality and attendance to ensure team effectiveness and availability
- Full UK driving licence
