Main Responsibilities

  • Checking off & booking in returned equipment
  • Recording inward deliveries in the data base
  • Preparing shipments for despatch
  • Checking shipping manifests against outbound/inbound equipment
  • Making equipment deliveries and collections in company vehicles
  • Responsibility for all activities in goods in/out area
  • Working effectively with other departments to ensure on time despatch of goods
  • Supporting company stock control and management General warehousing and forklifting operations
  • Housekeeping and maintenance of the building
  • Maintaining the forklift truck and other equipment in line with company and legal requirements

Requirements of Role

  • Previous experience in a similar role essential, e.g. within a warehouse, goods receiving or stock control environment
  • Strong numerical and literacy application skills
  • Good attention to detail essential
  • Ability to work safely and organised in a warehouse environment
  • Demonstrate a good working understanding of rental stock control systems and databases.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Full UK drivers and forklift licence.
  • Willingness to undertake additional hours to complete warehouse daily tasks out of normal working hours.
