Role specifics

  • NVQ Level 2 Food Preparation and Cooking & NVQ Level 2 Food Safety
  • You will need to undertake an enhanced DBS check for this role.



The Role

The overall management of a school catering operation, monitoring and controlling the catering service to ensure that quality and consistency of service are maintained at all times.


The role would be based at Bolton Parish Church of England Primary School and would be 30 hours per week and term-time only.


About You

Great practical skills are essential for this hands-on role. You will need to be determined, energetic with great organisational skills, experienced with cooking for large numbers, and ideally have a school catering background with an understanding of portion control, budgets and ordering.
