We are currently recruiting a Kitchen Porter to join our team at Technology Centre, Whitchurch Hill, Pangbourne, RG8 7QR

What you'll be doing

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwash and surrounding areas within the site.
  • Carrying out all washing up duties for a busy kitchen and restaurant
  • Cleaning and sterilizing counter tops, walls and sinks
  • Ensuring the dining room tables are cleared and cleaned daily
  • Assisting with basic food preparation if required
  • Cleaning the dining areas
  • Assisting with daily and weekly deep cleans
  • Assisting with deliveries and organizing them in the correct storage areas
  • Removing waste from waste containers and disposing of them in the correct external bins
  • Providing assistance to front of house and kitchen staff as required

Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Customer focused and a good communicator
  • Excellent team player
  • DBS check will be required
