    the staff my head chef is great but the shift leads don’t know basic food hygiene procedures or stock rotation and it was infuriating having to pick up all there slack for half the pay they also would just verbally abuse anyone under them i pack the job in two months into it because how bad it got

    The team I work with are more like extended family, we can laugh and cry together. The job is fun most of the time.

    It is stressful, physically demanding, and have ended up in tears a few times due to some guests. Not great if you have physical problems, the plates and drinks are heavy to carry and can cause long term damage to hands and wrists.
