Warehouse Operator with FLT License
Plymouth
Mon to Thurs 09:00 - 17:00 hrs
Fri 09:00 - 16:30hrs
£10.56 per hour
Overtime paid at £15.84

Job Summary: We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operator to join our Plymouth operation. The successful candidate must hold a valid counterbalance forklift truck license and possess prior stores or material handling experience.
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will demonstrate good numerical skills, meticulous attention to detail, PC literacy, and familiarity with stock control methods such as FIFO.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading goods in a correct and safe manner.
- Operating a counterbalance forklift truck.
- Accurately picking and packing materials for customer orders.
- Ensuring work adheres to FIFO principles and maintains stock accuracy.
- Maintaining a high quality of work.
- Correct administration of paperwork..
- Daily checks on material handling equipment.
- Adhering to all Company Policies and Procedures.
- Ensuring full compliance with Environmental Health and Safety procedures.
- Fully complying with all Quality, Environmental Health & Safety directives, including PPE, Accident Reporting, Safety Commitments, RAMS, etc.
Requirements:
- Valid counterbalance forklift truck license.
- Previous stores or material handling experience.
- Good numerical skills.
- PC literacy.
- Knowledge of stock control methods, particularly FIFO.
