Care Assistant for a senior gentleman F/T@ £10.42/hr in PR9 - FTE - £0.0k

Bank staff position to cover maternity and long term sickness possibly leading to full time contract. Mature independent active middle aged male wheelchair user requires personal assistant/carer to promote independent living. Must hold a UK full valid driving license aged 25 +. Must be experienced in the following and live in local area: administering and recording medication, record daily/nightly nursing notes, maintain a safe hygenicb environment for client, prepare meals, assist taking client to appointments, promote and assist social activities including visits to the gym and other activities. Conduct shopping and maintaining a healthy diet. Must be an excellent communicator and able to use own initiative. Client is in process of training support dog and applicants must be dog friendly. Shift rotation will be 12 hours days and nights. Promote positive mental health. Training to successful applicant will be given on delivery of the care plan.
