Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the construction site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules. Oversee the day-to-day operations, including site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure efficient project execution. Monitor and control project budgets, costs, and resources, identifying and addressing any deviations or issues. Collaborate closely with the project team, including architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, to ensure effective communication and coordination. Maintain a strong focus on health and safety, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. Conduct regular site inspections, quality control checks, and snagging processes to ensure adherence to quality standards. Monitor and manage subcontractor performance, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and deliver high-quality work. Proactively identify and mitigate any project risks or challenges, proposing solutions and implementing appropriate measures. Foster a positive working environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and effective communication among the site team.Requirements:
Proven track record in successfully delivering projects of similar scale and complexity, with a focus on quality, cost, and schedule. Extensive knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and regulations, including health and safety requirements. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project objectives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders. Proficiency in using construction management software and tools to monitor project progress and generate reports. Relevant construction qualifications, such as a degree in construction management or a related field, are desirable but not essential.
