What Nando’s employees say about their job
-
Best thing
Team trips away
Worst thing
New KPI's are exhausting. All staff are paid minimum wage which only attracts students. Its impossible to run a restaurant with all part time employees.
Management haven't seen a fair pay increase in comparison to minimum wage.
Area managers have no idea what's going on and plays favourites. General managers not in store or doing proper hours, arwa managers looking after favourite restaurants by moving money and sales so they reach bonus while other restaurants get nothing.
I've been promised development loads of times and nothing happens while others seem to get all the opportunities.
The ethos when I joined was make money and have fun. Now its all micro managed and data heavy. The fun has been lost.Nando’s Employee, May 2023
