  • Best thing

    The team I work with, the regular customers you build up relationships with, the staff discount and the bargains we are able to get when things go into the sale.

    Worst thing

    No security support, constant shoplifters and some violent abusive ones. We get moaned at about stockloss but the company does nothing to help us with thieves. Never enough staff and no recruitment done to cover when staff leave (which is very frequently) yet head office want more and more tasks done. Some policies are only applied to certain staff members and others get away with allsorts. We are measured on sales but constantly left without stock of many items so shelves look empty, customers complain and staff feel useless.

    Variable shifts with start times all over the place.
    Level of shop lifting makes it threatening at times, as no real security.
