Best thing
The team - family oriented.
Worst thing
Upper management. KPI and Bonus orientated over personnel.
Issues raised formally are kept in house, swept and not investigated.
Poor communication and lack of respect.
Sold one thing at interview and given another after a few weeks.
Constant HR issues but shrugged off and turned around on your self, or moved sites before investigation. Fire and rehire tactics. No well-being support, jumping before your pushed when you question or raise an issue.
Regionals don’t care, belittle and berate you, and knock you down a few pegs without following policies or ACAS. When you fight back and question, you find yourself in a lonely dark corner questioning why you ever did it…jumping before they push you.
Disagreements with staff, they’ll find a reason to pressure to quit and rehire while it’s on going.Whitbread Team leader, April 2023
