They scheduled me to work 7 hours on Saturday starting at 7am and also a Sunday starting at 8. And they know I’m in full time education doing a levels and that amount of hours whilst doing a levels is impossible. And when I requested to change my hours I was told I had to wait till they are hiring

Overtime is a bit all over the place, especially at Christmas, depending on your manager they are very unsympathetic to sick days and aren’t great at managing holidays or time off where your still working

it’s a partnership and everyone treats everyone else kindly and with respect, plus the managers actually get their hands dirty when they need to if we are understaffed you can see managers on tills or doing date code checking even potwash , they also care a lot about our workers rights
