Best thing
The customers, friendly hard-working colleagues. Nice products to sell. When/if you are trained it is thorough and the daily rallies are nice.
Worst thing
Terrible company to work for. Constant issues with pay - the latest being that all hourly wage staff being underpaid and told not to contact HR. Being told the business is not making enough money but seeing they are buying business. No proper rewards system for employees or staff. The only way to feel a reward is to spend your own money. Really bad hours, sometimes working until 3am for floor sets or stocktake. Managers having aggression towards new untrained staff, calling them useless. Unprofessional demeanour from management. Constantly staying late. Nobody having a backbone to report negative feedback to the company or standing up for their rights. Under 18’s not having breaks or staying past 11pm. Understaffed and people constantly quitting without notice putting undue pressure on employees. Company not allowing management to advertise new roles. Employees having fear of higher management.
