What are administrators saying about pay at University Of Nottingham?

Best thing
I work with really good members of staff. Enjoy working with children and seeing how you make an impact in their lives.
Worst thing
Manager does not always take on staffs viewpoints, especially when they are critical as staffing is very tight. People have to wear many 'hats' and do multiple jobs everyday. Pay is not good and no rise happening as the university has not earned 'enough' money. Training to develop is not able to happen as there is no staff to cover for the person to be able to do it.

Best thing
My work nature, i like it because i do different things in IT and i also love working with my team
Worst thing
The pay is not good , i feel that we are under paid. And i feel my department only focuses on spending budgets on the upper level jobs only.
