Best thing
most managers don’t care if you take free food or drinks on shift, closing staff get to take him food at the end of the night
Worst thing
last minute shift changes, aren’t always guaranteed hours even though you’re on a 6 hour contract, managers don’t do much, will send you home early unpaid

Best thing
Team members and shift managers are very friendly and helpful.
Worst thing
Very bad Management from restaurant manager and people above them. A LOT of favouritism in this company. Area managers and their bosses only cares about their bonuses instead of customer service and the people that work here. Zero empathy and respect towards shift managers and staff members. The staff and shift managers are literally being treated as slaves. Difficult to take a break. very difficult and almost impossible to get any kind of holidays or time off. Very hard to get paid for booked holidays. Lack of diversity. Zero training provided. Lack of communication in management. Dangerous for staff to work in this place as there is no security and there is a lot of rude customers, thief etc. not being properly paid for the time spent at work. Being clocked out for breaks even when someone didn’t took a break. The higher management(area managers and their bosses including Headoffice doesn’t care about their very hardworking employees. The worst company I’ve ever worked for. This company should be investigated and closed. This whole place is a mess. Plenty of cons.

Best thing
relatively easy work and plenty of cigarette breaks
Worst thing
managers constantly on their phones not doing work and getting mad at the 16 year olds for 'slacking off' when they are the only ones doing anything, poor store hygiene, terrible pay, rude managers treating staff like vermin, no training given whatsoever yet you're expected to know everything by day 2, shifts get changed the day before with no notice, holiday isn't paid and you only get 10 days per year, underpaid staff forced to do manager jobs while managers all just sit and chat then blame staff and make them stay after closing when work isnt finished

Best thing
Have a team to work with and customers are great at the new restaurant
Worst thing
The top management is too rigid about the cost control. Labour is too tight and the blame culture stresses everyone out. They want everything done 100% with the least amount of labour cost.
