    The time off and money, really good overtime rate and 30% bonus onto all basic pay as it’s shift work

    Great opportunity to try new things. You are encouraged to progress within the company. You have the chance of earning a great salary at the end if you are successful. You get free travel for you and someone at your address. You get a discount on eurostar and season ticket.

    You are underpaid considering the responsibility you have. Underpaid considering your health is deteriorating due to shift work and dangerous air pollution on the underground. Not supported with your degree. You have less holiday and less pay than the people you manage. You are not trained to the same standard as your colleagues which means you could lose your job if you make a mistake. Apprentices and Graduates have a bad reputation around the Underground, largely due to previous incompetence as a result of poor training - this means it is hard to gain people's trust in a new team and some people will never take you seriously.
