    Worst thing

Bad planning and poor decision making.

    4.4

    Employee, April 2021

  • Best thing

You're your own boss most of the time, particularly drivers. Meet lots of new people. Tesco benefits are pretty decent ie pension, discounts etc, salary or wages aren't the best but when you take into consideration the benefits you get its not awful, plus most of the jobs aren't that difficult just a bit mundane.

    Worst thing

Don't expect most managers to back you up much. They are very pro company and not pro staff. They are quick to criticise if you make an error but don't praise for good effort. The majority of staff work hard but don't get nowhere near the appreciation they deserve.
