  Manager and leading supervisor are both horrible. You’re not allowed to take time off even if ill with a doctors note. And if they don’t like you, they will reduce your hours to 4 a week even if you were contracted for 20. They isolate you and create a toxic workplace within the store and gossip about you like 13 year olds

  Employers keeps constantly underpaying me and seems to have no interest of amending it.

  I love the people that I work with, I get along with everyone there and we have a laugh together but we also get the work done so it tends to run smoothly. The hours are sometimes great for if you’re a student and need that extra bit of money coming in. I left my previous job for reasons of my own and I can say that I am physically and mentally happier in my place of work now.

  The hours aren’t good enough for everyone trying to have money to live on. After rent there’s times where I have £6 to last me two weeks until my next payslip. There’s been times where I’ve been assaulted by customers and there’s nothing that has been done from the manager or higher up. I’ve spoken to the police but I’m still waiting on a response from them. There’s times when I feel like I’ve ran the shift all by myself or I’ve had to take changes because my colleagues (who are getting paid more than me) are sat on their phone or are doing god knows what when I’ve asked for help multiple times.

  Manager always makes the new people clean and let's the other staff make the food.
  Other problems are when they pack a delivery and someone has ordered the same product as the delivery they tend to have ago if you have given it to the in-store customer

  Lack of proper communication and being taught the wrong way to do things and then being complained at for messing up, even tho you were taught the wrong way. Not getting my rota till the day before I might have to work.
