    Starbucks don’t care about the frontline staff, they don’t care about coffee. They don’t care about customer connection. They only care about making money from deliveries (UberEats/Just Eat/Deliveroo) and giving stores minimal labour to handle it and their idea of rewards are points on a website that no one uses because nothing works on it.

    Managers can be quite toxic. There’s a very strong “family work ethic” at Starbucks so if you need to take a day off you can be shamed for “betraying the team” or similar.
