What are bar and restaurant managers saying about pay at Starbucks?

  • Best thing

I’m fortunate enough to work with a great group of staff. Store Management are great and understanding. Flexible around student schedules.

    Worst thing

No longer aloud to take tips, company used to take them, now we’re not allowed to accept them at all. Bad pay, especially for the amount of practice you need. Can be very stressful during peak times.

  • Best thing

The pay is great and the team is also very welcoming and friendly.

    Worst thing

There is very high expectations with very little respect returned from the franchise that owns my store. We also feel very underfunded sometimes for the amount of money we bring to them.
