Best thing
You can walk away with a good wage at the end of the month, but it's only cos your required to work so many hours, so ts bit actually high paid, but there is plenty of opportunities for extra hours.
Worst thing
Broken equipment, overworked staff, dangerous workplace, service charge used to pay wages.

Best thing
The best parts of my job are the customers and a select group of staff that I work with
Worst thing
We work 12 hour shifts with a 30 minute break if we get a break at all. The flow of staff that come and go is so high and the managers sit in the office a lot and leave us on the floor by ourselves. And a select group of staff have to do manager duties at our waiters pay

Best thing
The pay is £12 an hour which is the £9.50 minimum wage that SBN pays you and the extra £2.50 comes from the customers. Not all of this money gets to employees as they keep the money which goes over this £2.50 per employee. I never saw nor will I ever see the extra money made in card tips/service charge that went past my additional £2.50.
Worst thing
Bullying/gossiping/rumours which stem directly from management. The higher up in authority you go the nastier management gets. Made me work several 12 hour shifts without a break. The break would be automatically removed from your pay as you didn’t get paid for breaks so those shifts where I had no break they automatically removed half an hours pay. 8 hour shifts never had a break, that was standard. Impossible work load for all positions at SBN trying to rush customers in and out to make as much money as possible. Put heavy amounts of stress on employees to meet these impossible targets. Working at SBN ruined my physical and mental health.
