Jobs where breaks are paid

What people are saying about sick pay at Screwfix

  • Best thing

Good range of shift patterns, flexible to a point to accommodate everyone, frequent pay rises for sales assistants and supervisors, opportunities to progress

    Worst thing

Progression apprenticeships are poorly run and executed, unrealistic measures set by head office (hour cuts at short notice, POS changes all the time that are mostly un needed) breaks can be hard to fit in due to being short staffed, colleagues over worked as you can't use peoples hours when they are off sick long term

    Screwfix Supervisor, November 2022

  • Best thing

The people at Screwfix are really helpful and you all work as a team and is a easy job for the money

    Worst thing

Sometimes as a supervisor you don’t get all your breaks ( two 10 minutes) but you get at least your lunch, the holidays can be annoying as a supervisor because you need a time another manager ain’t off and you open the store
