Best thing
For me I enjoy working alone, For the most part you are left to your own devices. You get a company van which is only for work use. Not working in the same building, always different.
Worst thing
No support if you need help which a job, the company doesn't care about you at all, You are rushed for time, they presure you to work faster due to a new productivity state called CDR. The copper network you will be working on isn't being looked after (company isn't spending money on the copper network). If you can't finish a job you now don't have the option to stay on after hours to try and complete it, due to the company not wanting to pay overtime. All weekend overtime has been cancelled. There is no option for progression. Your not encouraged, your moaned at in this company.

Best thing
If there is overtime, you can milk it as much as possible.
Worst thing
As with most industries, the perogative is to milk us for everything we can provide with next to no benefits to us as the worker. Carrot dangling is a major factor in the work place. Blame and unsafe working culture.
