Best thing
The effort and energy that 75% of the staff put in to their role. We really try hard and those of us that work hard, work extremely hard for our patients and colleagues alike.
Worst thing
We are underpaid and over-worked. Our wage is OK, howeverghe cost of the degrees required and the debts accrued whilst in training, for many of us that is a year on unpaid work, doesn't match the salary.
We are also declined holidays, whether a day, long weekend or a week due to short staffing. So we are exhausted as a team. To rub the salt in the wound our unsised holidays are stripped from us at the end of the year, no pay, no roll over, no accounting our leave.
Finally, those that don't put the work in are never penalised or let go. So we hard workers have to pick up their slack and they get the same wage as us.
Very unfair.
