Mr Mulligans job reviews

  • Best thing

I liked quite a few of my coworkers and I was, at the time of having this job, getting paid slightly more than minimum wage despite it being my first job.

    Worst thing

The staff were exclusively given training via online videos that were scarcely relevant to the actual job, for the majority of employees it was their first experience with employment and were expected to do all jobs with no real training or knowledge, all the managers quit before the place officially opened so the replacement managers were all either entirely inexperienced or furious that they had been transferred to this location, the managers also would congratulate themselves on good days by drinking at the bar while we were trying to clean it, management told staff that after the first two weeks we would all go out for drinks to celebrate and for staff bonding but uninvited all non-management staff and spend the evening talking about how awful they thought we were despite giving us no real training, all the salaried members of staff worked a great deal of overtime for no additional pay, I was reprimanded for taking too long cleaning the dishes while the dishwasher wasn't working as they wanted me to just leave bits of old crusted cheese onto the plates to reuse.
