What people are saying about sick pay at Morrisons
-
Best thing
15% employee discount
Worst thing
Harassment from managers. Breaks aren’t guaranteed for many staff. Racist, abusive and threatening customers are tolerated and even apologised to by managers (to keep them happy). No support for people with disabilities. No support in general.

Best thing
Some regular customers, just cracking on
Worst thing
Rude customers, stressful work load, unpaid breaks, unpaid overtime. sometimes i work over 6 hours and get a 15 min break rather than a 20 min break

Best thing
Colleagues are grest
Worst thing
Abuse from customer & working at frantic pace with unrealistic expectations. Poor staffing. Pay not reflective of supervisors role for whe shift as it depends who else is on duty - so it could be £11.44-£12.05. Nowhere to take breaks.

Best thing
Best part of the job was being able to move between departs for overtime when needed ( if available )
Worst thing
The management and staff, blatantly rude and ignorant to other peoples issues and problems. had issues being on the rota for over 15 hours and only given 2x 15 minute breaks done through "split shifts". which left me with no time to breathe think or get anything done outside of work. No social life as a result of changing rotas last minute to accommodate their mistakes and saying since its on the rota its my responsibility to get it covered even though i wasn't initially intended to be in. Which ultimately was the catalyst for me dropping out of my second year uni course as i didn't have the time to focus on it anymore and needed the money to support myself.
