    Great home , nice atmosphere, lovely staff

    Worst thing

    Very short staffed, residents left to wait a long period of time. Palliative patients not sat with only on hourly checks si could die alone. Food bit greasy. Glass wear tinted look dirty. Washing doesn't smell clean need more products, cleaning chemicals not sufficient.

    Being able to work on my own during the night and chill out when its quiet. Getting to catchup with the other carers at the beginning and end of the shift breifly

    How understaffed we are. How we are expected to do care in our wellbeing role at the end of our 10 hr night shift. How underpaid we are and how MHA dont give nightstaff any enhancement. How our wages are wrong and they take ages to rectify. Management is unsupportive and all training is out of date

    Carrying can be very rewarding, and the team of women I work with have been phenomenal.

    Expectations from management are unrealistic. There are never enough hours to cover care, paperwork, communication with families. Stress levels for carers is immense, no extra pay for weekends, bank holidays, Christmas. No support/ consideration throughout COVID-19, for carers and their own families.
