  • Best thing

the pay is higher than average employers for under 18s
the interview process was simple and hard to fault
the crew is often nice and easy to bond with
lots of young employees so you find friends amongst work

    Worst thing

inadequate training, i am often asked to do positions i haven’t been trained on and i’m expected to be able to guess what to do
management have overly high expectations of younger employees and often overwork us
management have messed with my availability in the past & have attempted to override my college schedule - may conflict with students
customers are rude and expect michelin star treatment from a fast food place
you’re only given one set of uniform & shifts are often back to back so washing shirts is a hassle
management have poor communication amongst each other (ie. i was told to book days off one way but another manager told me it was incorrect and i was penalised for it)
managers often ask for your employee log in and fill in forms for you without explaining what you are - you don’t really know what you’ve signed up for
